The School Holiday program at The Sewing Room

sewing room

The classes in the School Holiday program are designed for children aged eight and up. There is a strong focus on recycling through the program, from fabrics to clothing and many of our teachers encourage children to create a master piece from things they already have.

Classes for younger children include soft toy making, jewellery making, wearable art and basic sewing skills which encourage imagination and creativity.

Older children have the opportunity to learn how to use a sewing machine and create bags or re-fashion vintage and op-shop garments.

For more information regarding classes you can email info@thesewingroom.com.au or see our blog www.thesewingroom.net.au.
